
Meet Sunnie
Hey there! I'm the kind of person who's never met a stranger – heck, I could strike up a conversation with a rock! 🗣️💬 That's probably why I've got stories to fill a book, but I'll share a few chapters from my life with you.
My journey is a tapestry of dedicated service and adventure. I swapped vows with my other half, whom I met while we were both serving in the US Army – talk about love on the frontlines. After a rewarding six-year stint with the military as a CH-47 mechanic and crew chief, my thirst for knowledge led me to Texas A&M University, where I immersed myself in all things Agricultural Communications and Journalism. Whoop! 🎓
Family is my fortress, and my two boys are my pride – one joined our ranks while I was enlisted, and the other as I conquered the college scene. Life’s about balance, and I'm proud to cheer on my husband as he now embarks on his own academic saga in Engineering.

Why I started
Sunnie Says
I founded Sunnie Says out of a genuine desire to assist small business owners who find themselves at odds with self-promotion in a competitive market, particularly when resources are scarce. The concept was born from witnessing their struggles firsthand—the monthly grind, the constant uncertainty, and the necessity of growth without the tools and knowledge to achieve it. I saw how daunting marketing could be without the right skills and how it became a source of stress rather than strategic growth. Recognizing that not everyone can afford the services of large agencies, my mission became clear: to provide tailored, high-quality marketing services that align with the modest budgets of these businesses, lifting some of that weight off their shoulders, and helping them shine, no matter where they stand on their business journey.
